Native southerner originally from Alabama, late of Florida and living here in sunny Phoenix, AZ since October 2014.  

 

I am not an expert, nor do I pretend to be one.  In fact, hiking and the outdoors is much more an art than a science. 

 

I have hiked about 1100 miles since November of 2014, and have climbed 65 Arizona mountains.  My highest peak summitted so far is Kendrick Peak, at 10,418 feet. I recently completed the 52 Hike Challenge and did so in less than 6 months!

 

I am a proud Army veteran and served this country with honor and pride from 1993-1995 at Ft. Benning Georgia.
